RED CARPET ON A BAD ROAD FOR GEJ
Sometimes one will wonder if our leaders are insensitive to the plights and sufferings of the poor masses. But the truth remains that we the masses have been deceiving them due to the fact that the government favors us or in some way is of benefit to us.
When the drive on the roads, they are treated with good convoys, and if there are traffic on the road, the lawmakers turn to law breakers. Some drive on opposite lanes, escorts smashing people cars, so their god's can pass through.
They will never know that there is a bad road that is causing the traffic and as such may not work on that road believing is all good.
Leaders should serve us in the true sense of it, leading by examples but the case is opposite in Nigeria, N10 Billion is spent under two weeks for private jets, yet when ASUU lifts their request, they brainwash the masses, that the request is too much to uphold. While only their personal life style expenses can pay half of what ASUU requests.
We institutionalize corruption and glorify offenders, so how then can we say punish them when we are guilty ourselves?
They youths now play along not knowing that their future has been destroyed, should we be fighting our biggest challenge which is corruption?
They will sink boreholes in the villages, and publish them on newspapers so you can clap for them and we do anyways, they build 10 kilometer roads with the same amount for 100 kilometer roads, and publish them for us, some went as far as using computer graphic to achieve projects and publish for us.
I have seen a new transformative agenda advertisement for Jonathan, equaling him to Obama, Mandela and Lee Kuan Yew, they forget to mention or inform Jona that Lee Kuan Yew fought corruption with great impunity to achieve the Singapore we see today. Well all know that transformation isn't easy, but we face great deception owing to the fact that the root step for transformation is to fight corruption.
Its better to talkless and carry a big stick than to talk much and carry small stick...
All of Nigerians problem is rooted in corruption...no more no less, any change outside this, is pure deception. Nigerians should stand up, be wise, educate your people, we are like specimen of political deception.
