Breaking News: Explosion rocks Abuja again

An explosion has struck a busy shopping district in Nigeria's capital, Abuja, killing at least 21 people.
The explosion was in the capital's Wuse district, near the popular Banex plaza shopping complex, and could be heard from miles away.
It is not yet clear what was behind the explosion, however police say they are securing a "crime scene".
Islamist militant group Boko Haram has bombed targets across northern Nigeria in recent years.
"After a preliminary investigation we can confirm that 21 people were killed and 17 injured," police spokesman Frank Mba told reporters.
Smoke rising near the scene of the blast, in Wuse 2, Abuja, 26 June 2014The explosion was heard for miles around
'Covered in blood'
Chiamaka Oham, who was near the site of the blast, told the BBC: "We heard a really loud noise and the building shook, and people started screaming and running out.
"We saw the smoke and people covered in blood. It was just chaos."
Eyewitnesses at the scene described seeing body parts scattered across the area.
The area was packed with shoppers at the time of the blast, the BBC's Hausa service editor Mansur Liman reports.
Many cars outside the shopping complex were burnt out and many windows were shattered, he adds.
One man told the BBC his driver was killed in the blast: "I was in the complex when I saw that the ground was shaking. I saw my driver dead and a lot of casualties."
Smoke seen rising from the site of the blast, Abuja, 25 June 2014The blast hit a busy shopping centre
Manzo Ezekiel, spokesman for the National Emergency Management Agency, told AFP news agency: "You can see smoke billowing from the sky. It's a very crowded place."
Police spokesman Frank Mba said he could not provide details of the nature or extent of the damage.
"Our most important assignment now is to secure lives, secure the crime scene and actually carry out preliminary investigations," he added.
Boko Haram has staged previous attacks in Abuja, but most of its targets have been in the north-east of the country.
In April, more than 70 people were killed in a bomb blast at a bus stop on the outskirts of the capital in an attack claimed by Boko Haram.
The group also said it was behind a car bomb attack near a bus station in the suburbs in May, which killed at least 19 people and injured 60 others.
The group also carried out a deadly car bomb attack on the United Nations building in the Nigerian capital in 2011.
It has become a source of growing international concern since the recent abduction of more than 200 girls from a school in northern Nigeria.

Breaking News: Video of Boko Haram Killing Christians in Northern Nigeria

One may wonder, is this truly a "religion of peace" Islam claims to be?
But in another thought, one may begin to see the grievous danger that surrounds playing politics with Islamic extremists.

Our Nigerian leaders have decided to play politics with Boko Haram, which has resulted in poor and innocent Nigerians falling victims to their wickedness. They care not, their minds are blocked and so are determined to achieve their own personal goals rather than yield to the poor masses pressure for better governance. Corruption remains the root problem of Nigeria problems, until it's rooted out, we are only playing with hell. Can we sow corruption and expect good and better Nigeria tomorrow?  Why then should we even expect change? You can't sow "corn" and harvest "banana" .

Is this the new face of Nigeria?

We are sure to see that Christians will fall victims and we haven't no one to call on than to call on God,  (2 Ch 7:14).  Please share this video on your Facebook walls, twitters, any social media devices calling on Christians in Nigeria and all over the world to pray deeply for your brothers and sisters who died/facing persecution in their faith for Jesus Christ, and that God should strengthen others who are alive to remain firm to their faith.

Governor Amaechi Waylaid By Soldiers on The Road To Ado-Ekiti

Minister of Sate for Defense, Musiliu Obanikoro's convoy came past the roadblock that "arrested" Governor Amaechi
Soldiers stop Gov. Amaechi and aides

Nigerian soldiers acting on "order from above" prevented two state governors from traveling to Ekiti state where they had been billed to attend a rally in support of Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State.
Governor Amaechi was stopped by soldiers as he approached Ikere-Ekiti and told he had no clearance to enter the state. The soldiers forced Amaechi to return to Akure's airport only to be told his chartered jet had been grounded by federal aviation authorities.

Tragedy And Protests In Abuja As Demolition Bulldozer Crushes Child, Followed By Death Of Mother

Gridlock caused by protest
By Saharareporters, New York
Protests broke out today along Kubwa Express Road in Galadima, a section of Abuja, after a bulldozer being used by a demolition squad of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) killed a child. The bulldozer was being used to demolish illegal structures built on a parcel of land that a source belongs to an unnamed “influential person.” The child’s mother then died shortly after by stabbing herself, the two tragedies triggering protests by squatters and onlookers in the area.
A source at the location told SaharaReporters that the “influential individual” who owns the land had connived with officials of the Federal Capital Territory by pretending that he was building an estate on the land.
Trouble started when the demolition team arrived in the village with a retinue of armed men from the Army, Navy, Air Force, mobile police and Civil Defense Corps. An eyewitness said that the demolition squad began demolishing structures without allowing the occupants to take anything from their houses. “They did not allow anybody to salvage their property before they began to pull down all the houses. What led to the riot was the killing of a small girl who was left in the house while her mother went to buy something from the market. Before she came back from the market, the bulldozer had already crushed her child with the house,” said the source. He added: “When the mother of the girl arrived and saw her daughter in a pool of blood, she grabbed a knife and stabbed herself. She eventually died too.”
Infuriated by the two tragic deaths, residents of the community barricaded the lanes of the express road, making it impossible for motorists to ply the roads. The angry mob set up bonfires and smashed the windscreen of any vehicle that attempted to pass. The protests caused a heavy traffic gridlock along the road as many people abandoned their vehicles on the road.
A source told SaharaReporters that the demolition team hurriedly left the scene for fear of being lynched by the irate mob. One of the residents whose structure was demolished told SaharaReporters that the FCT authority had given the residents a six-month ultimatum to vacate. The deadline expired in March, but the resident condemned the government’s failure to offer any compensation or resettlement plan.
A similar demolition squad recently went to a village called Jahi near Shoprite in Abuja to pull down illegal structures, but was resisted by the residents.

Breaking News: The deception Nigerians have come to live with.

RED CARPET ON A BAD ROAD FOR GEJ
Sometimes one will wonder if our leaders are insensitive to the plights and sufferings of the poor masses. But the truth remains that we the masses have been deceiving them due to the fact that the government favors us or in some way is of benefit to us.

When the drive on the roads, they are treated with good convoys, and if there are traffic on the road, the lawmakers turn to law breakers. Some drive on opposite lanes, escorts smashing people cars, so their god's can pass through.

They will never know that there is a bad road that is causing the traffic and as such may not work on that road believing is all good.
Leaders should serve us in the true sense of it, leading by examples but the case is opposite in Nigeria, N10 Billion is spent under two weeks for private jets, yet when ASUU lifts their request, they brainwash the masses, that the request is too much to uphold. While only their personal life style expenses can pay half of what ASUU requests.

We institutionalize corruption and glorify offenders, so how then can we say punish them when we are guilty ourselves?

They youths now play along not knowing that their future has been destroyed, should we be fighting our biggest challenge which is corruption?

They will sink boreholes in the villages, and publish them on newspapers so you can clap for them and we do anyways, they build 10 kilometer roads with the same amount for 100 kilometer roads, and publish them for us, some went as far as using computer graphic to achieve projects and publish for us.

I have seen a new transformative agenda advertisement for Jonathan, equaling him to Obama, Mandela and Lee Kuan Yew, they forget to mention or inform Jona that Lee Kuan Yew fought corruption with great impunity to achieve the Singapore we see today. Well all know that transformation isn't easy, but we face great deception owing to the fact that the root step for transformation is to fight corruption.

Its better to talkless and carry a big stick than to talk much and carry small stick...
All of Nigerians problem is rooted in corruption...no more no less, any change outside this, is pure deception. Nigerians should stand up, be wise, educate your people, we are like specimen of political deception.

How We Were Falsely Detained Inside The Airport And Our Aircraft Impounded In Kano – Gov. Amaechi

Governor Rotimi Amaechi
By Premium Times
The Rivers state Governor, Rotimi Amaechi, on Monday recounted his ordeal and those of his colleagues in Kano on Sunday after a former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Lamido Sanusi, was named the new emir of the powerful Kano emirate.
Mr. Amaechi and a few other dignitaries were in Kano to pay condolence visits to the Kano state government over the death of Emir Ado Bayero.
But sources also said  Mr. Amaechi and a few other chieftains of the opposition All Progressives Congress also poured into Kano after receiving intelligence that some northern traditional rulers sympathetic to the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, were putting pressure on the kingmakers and Governor Rabiu Kwankawaso to overlook Mr. Sanusi and appoint his rival to the coveted throne.
Responding to a PREMIUM TIMES enquiry on Monday morning, Mr. Amaechi said after visiting Governor Kwankwaso, he, along with other dignitaries, made for the Aminu Kano Airport where his chartered aircraft was parked.
He said immediately his team entered the airport buildings preparatory to boarding the plane back to Abuja, authorities locked all the doors to the complex, holding him and his colleagues hostage.
The plane was also impounded, he said.
“The Kano governor called the airport commandant that we should at least be allowed to leave the building but the commandant refused saying he had an order from above not to let us out,” the governor said. “We had to force one of the doors open to get away.”
He said after they escaped from the airport, the team devised a means of hurrying out of Kano for fear they might be attacked by thugs sponsored by the federal government.
“So we quickly got a car, bought fuel and started driving towards Abuja. We sold a dummy to the airport people and a few others that we were returning to the Kano Government House. The governor was also expecting us. But we were far gone. I personally drove the car and all of us had to switch off our phones so no one would know our whereabouts.
“I drove for five hours and we arrived Abuja at 2 a.m. We were not afraid of armed robbers or anyone attacking us on the road. We were only afraid that the authorities could plant people on the road to waylay and attack us. But thank God we arrived safe.
In the car Mr. Amaechi drove from Kano to Abuja were a former governor of Gombe state, now Senator Danjuma Goje, a former governor of Kwara state, now Senator Shaaba Lafiagi, and a former Acting Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Abubakar Baraje.
“I have been shouting that we are in a dictatorship, people thought I’m joking or exaggerating,” Mr. Amaechi said. “At least we can all see what is playing out.”

Soldiers desert Biita As Boko Haram Makes Strong Comeback

By Saharareporters, New York
Several soldiers on the ground in Borno State have told SaharaReporters that many Nigerian soldiers are deserting after the military retreated from Biita and Izge as Boko Haram militants mounted a major offensive. Our sources said numerous soldiers had handed in their weapons and deserted in civilian clothes.
On Saturday night, the Nigerian army had routed the Islamist terrorists, killing more than fifty of them and driving them out of Biita and Izge. But our military sources disclosed that Boko Haram returned in full force yesterday morning in a fierce fight that overwhelmed the soldiers. “They [Boko Haram militants] returned to Biita and Izge since yesterday morning with six armored personnel carriers (APC) to attack us,” one of the soldiers said.
He and other sources told SaharaReporters that rampaging Boko Haram fighters, numbering at least 500 and heavily armed, attacked and sacked army bases located in the area.
Realizing that they were outgunned, the soldiers fled their positions as the militants roared towards their positions in Biita. One source asserted that the soldiers had completely deserted Izge and Biita as militants retake the town and retrieved all the weapons earlier taken from them on Saturday and Sunday.
The soldiers complained about the inadequacy of weaponry and other equipment to confront Boko Haram fighters. Several soldiers revealed that many soldiers deserted their camps after handing over their weapons at the army headquarters in Michika, Adamawa State earlier today. At least 100 soldiers reportedly left through Shua-Mubi Road wearing civilian clothing.
A mid-level officer told SaharaReporters that the Nigerian army had increased operations and aggressively deployed more soldiers in the last week in order to convince the US and other European nations helping Nigeria with intelligence that the military was serious about defeating Boko Haram. “But the issue is that troop morale remains low. The talk from [those in] Abuja has not been met with equal zeal to provide ammunition and logistical equipment to combat Boko Haram,” said the officer.
Some of the soldiers disclosed that Boko Haram fighters have more APCs than Nigerian soldiers on the frontlines.
One soldier wondered why military commanders in Abuja had not mobilized the Nigerian Air Force to take out tanks used by Boko Haram fighters despite the fact that the militants use these tanks in open operations. “Our air force jets can easily locate them and bomb them,” said the soldier, “so why are we not doing so?”

Jonathan shuns congratulating the new emir of kano

President Goodluck Jonathan
By SaharaReporters, New York
President Goodluck Jonathan seems to be having problems finding the words with which to congratulate the new Emir of Kano, but General Muhammadu Buhari says it was God that elevated Sanusi Lamido Sanusi to the throne, and has advised him to rule with divine fear.
Jonathan controversially sacked Sanusi a few months ago as   Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, and as SaharaReporters has detailed since yesterday, he and his Peoples Democratic Party did everything to prevent Sanusi from gaining the powerful title of Emir of Kano.
Nigeria’s former Head of State, in a press statement he sent to SaharaReporters from his Kaduna base told the new Emir he has been chosen by God and so should fear God and treat all the people of Kano as those under his care and supervision.
“You should cultivate all and exclude none,” Buhari said, speaking like a true statesman.
“Your immediate duty is to rally the people to support the government in fighting terrorism and unrest. You should also bring your wealth of experience in assisting the economic revival of the state and the country.”
Buhari reminded Sanusi that he is assuming an office that was once occupied by such great historical figures such Muhammadu Rumfa, Ibrahim Dabo, Abdullahi Bayero, and Muhammadu Sanusi, and urged him to strive to be a worthy successor to those great men.

$20Billion Missing Oil Money: Nigerian Protest Waiting For Diezani Alison-Madueke In Austria On Wednesday

Former Nigeria's minister of Aviation, Stella Oduah removed over BMW scandal
By SaharaReporters, New York
When Nigeria's Minister of Petroleum Resources, Mrs. Diezani Alison-Madueke, the Alternate President of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), arrives at the 165th (Ordinary) Meeting of the group in Austria on Wednesday, she will find a hostile reception waiting at the gates if everything goes as planned.
Gate Keepers Foundation, an organization based in Europe, is organizing a public protest of Nigerians who are interested in the growth and development of the country to demand for the immediate sack/suspension of the Minister from the presidency.
“The protest has become necessary as a result of the failure of Diezani to account for the $20billion the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) failed to remit to the Federation Account and the N10billion she allegedly squandered on private jets in just two years,” the group said in a statement signed by Blessing Agbomhmre, its Executive Director.
According to the statement, the protest will begin at the OPEC Secretariat, Helferstorferstrasse 17, A-1010, Vienna, at 9.00am (local time).
“We call on Nigerians in Diaspora especially in Europe to come out with their placards to occupy the OPEC Secretariat in Vienna and stay there until the Secretary-General of OPEC suspends/sacks Diezani; pending when the $20billion is refunded to the Federation Account by the NNPC and the N10billion allegedly used to fly private jets is properly accounted for,” Gate Keepers said, reminding Nigerians of the saying, “The man dies who keeps silent in the face of evil."
The organization’s phone number was given as:
+4368864062700
It is widely-known in Nigeria that the presidency and the Senate are trying to puncture the charges against Alison-Madueke.  The Senators are alleged to have been heavily bribed to ensure that the Minister, who is a close friend of President Goodluck Jonathan, is not indicted.

Among the weapons recovered are 3,500 rounds of ammunition, 6 smoke grenade canisters, locally fabricated guns, 30 rifles, 36 hand grenades, 7 machine guns and 11 rocket propelled grenade tubes. *Warning, graphic pic when you click continue* ...

Nigerian gunmen kidnap 20 women in northeast

Alhaji Tar, a member of the vigilante groups set up to resist Boko Haram's attacks, said the men arrived at noon Thursday in the Garkin Fulani settlement and forced the women to enter their vehicles at gunpoint. He says they drove away to an unknown location in the remote stretch of Borno state.
Tar said the group also took three young men who tried to stop the kidnapping.
"We tried to go after them when the news got to us about three hours later, but the vehicles we have could not go far, and the report came to us a little bit late," he said.
In another incident, the Defense Headquarters said Monday that troops prevented raids by Boko Haram this weekend on villages in Borno and neighboring Adamawa state. Soldiers killed more than 50 militants on Saturday night as they were on their way to attack communities, defense spokesman Chris Oluklade said in an emailed statement.
The Nigerian military has come under rising criticism from Nigerians who say they're not protected by the security forces, left to fend off attacks by Boko Haram on their own.
Boko Haram, which wants to establish Islamic state in Nigeria, has been taking over villages in the northeast, killing and terrorizing civilians and political leaders. Thousands of people have been killed in the five-year-old insurgency, more than 2,000 people have been killed so far this year, and an estimated 750,000 Nigerians have been driven from their homes.
In recent weeks, the extremists have used a two-pronged strategy and widened their theater of operation beyond the remote northeast of the country. The group has bombed bus stations and marketplaces in three cities, killing about 250 people, and they are staging daily attacks on northeast villages, killing 20 people one day, and 50 another.
In one incident last week, the militants reportedly killed hundreds of civilians in three villages in the Gwoza local government. Residents said they had requested the military sends troops to protect the area after hearing Boko Haram militants were about to attack, but they said help never came.
The extremists abducted more than 300 girls from the Chibok Government Girls School on April 15, according to the police. Chibok community leader Pogu Bitrus says 57 girls escaped, leaving an estimated 272 still held captive.

No one claimed responsibility for the blast or last week's assaults but Islamist group Boko Haram has set off bombs and killed thousands in its five-year-old bid to carve out an Islamist state in the region.ABUJA/MAIDUGURI Nigeria (Reuters) - A female suicide bomber killed herself and a soldier outside an army barracks in Nigeria's northeastern city of Gombe on Sunday, the military said, as local leaders reported the death count from a string of earlier militant attacks had reached 110.
Soldiers stopped the woman as she tried to get into the barracks with explosives hidden under her robes, defence headquarters said in a statement.
The device went off, killing her and a soldier searching her, it added. "I heard a loud sound and then black smoke covering the place ... We saw soldiers moving bodies," Gombe trader Bello Kasuwankatako told Reuters.
Witnesses had earlier said between three and five people died.
Boko Haram – which dominated world headlines by kidnapping more than 200 schoolgirls in April – has fought back against an army offensive, piling political pressure on President Goodluck Jonathan and the military to end the carnage. Leaders from Gombe's neighbouring state of Borno told journalists on Sunday they had now buried 110 bodies from attacks on nine villages early last week - giving the first detailed breakdown on the casualties. [ID:nL6N0OL43R] "It was a great tragedy. There are still corpses lying in the bushes surrounding the communities. Many of our people that fled to the top of the hills during and after the attacks are still there and now stranded," said Ali Ndume, a senator representing southern Borno.
CIVILIANS EASY TARGETS Boko Haram started off focusing on military and government targets alongside schools - seen as representing corrupt Western influence - churches, and Muslim leaders who do not follow its brand of Islam. It has been increasingly turning its guns on civilians in recent months, particularly after locals started setting up vigilante groups to try and fight back.
It has become the biggest security threat to Africa's biggest economy and oil producer.
Traditional leader Lawan Abba Kaka said they had buried 42 corpses at the village of Attagara, 24 at Aganjara, 20 at Agapalawa and smaller numbers at other settlements - all of them in the Gwoza hills near the border with Cameroon.
"The insurgents came and said they wanted to discuss something with us. They said we need to discuss some issues bordering on our differences in the communities but they opened fire on people who were gathered," said Kaka.
On Wednesday, gunmen rounded up more villagers outside Borno's state capital Maiduguri saying they were going to deliver a sermon, then opened fire, killing at least 42, said a police source. [ID:nL6N0OM59C]
"It seems they are moving to rural areas," Hannah Donges, a researcher at the Small Arms Survey, told Reuters. "They are easier targets ... It doesn’t need sophisticated tactics. It makes them (Boko Haram) less predictable."
Suspected Boko Haram militants attacked a town in Cameroon's far north on Saturday but local security forces fought them off, killing at least two gunmen, Cameroon's government said. The militant group is also thought to be active in neighbouring Niger and Chad. [ID:nL5N0OP0CW]
The kidnapping of the girls from a secondary school in Borno's town of Chibok triggered a national and international campaign under the Twitter hashtag #BringBackOurGirls, calling on the government to step its efforts to free them.

Found this report on Sahara Reporters...quite scary! Read below...
The Gwoza Christian Community Association in Borno State has released details of disturbing disclosures made by six Christian girls who were abducted in 2013 by the dreaded Boko Haram sect.
The girls were abducted last year from different locations in Gwoza local government area. Their statements revealed that, following their abduction, they were subjected to serial rapes by Boko Haram terrorists. In addition, they were turned into domestic slaves in various Boko Haram camps before they pulled off their daring and lucky escapes. Continue...

Istifanus Ibrahim, one of the Christians in Gwoza, disclosed that the extremist Islamist sect had many abducted girls in their camps long before their abduction of more than 200 students from Government Secondary School, Chibok, in Borno State drew international media attention and global outrage.
Below are the summaries provided by the Christian community in Gwoza from the extensive statements of the six girls who escaped from Boko Haram camps. The girls’ names and other identities have been concealed for their security and in order to protect them from stigmatization:

Captive for 12 days in Boko Haram Camp in Sambisa (15th May 2013 - 26th May 2013).
She boarded for commercial bus at Tashan Bama in Maiduguri on 15th May 2013. There were five men in the vehicle when they took off. She was the only female among them. When they reach Bama Local government around Firgi area in Borno State, some Boko Haram members with heavy weapons abducted them and they were taken to Boko haram camp in Sambisa Games Reserve.

Immediately after their arrival they slew the five men with knife in her presence. She was there in their camp for 12 days when they slew more than 50 people in her presence. Whenever they bring a hostage, they check their identity card and differentiate them base on their belief, if your Christian they killed you, if the victim happened to be Muslim they recruit them. Those who refused they slew them.

It was one faithful day on 26th may 2013 that she escaped when the insurgent distance themselves from them to service their weapons and equally trained the new recruit on how to handled guns. She was pondered on how to run when she saw how females were killed.

They told her to get ready for conversion the following morning, and fortunately God took control of the event and one young man among the captive took courage and jump into one of their cars and started it. Eventually she and other six young men entered the car and they drow off. Unfortunately the Boko Haram followed them and succeeded in killing four but she and the driver escaped. That was how they abandon the vehicle and trek for some more Kilometers to get to the main road.

Captive for 3 Months in Boko Haram at Gwoza Hills (12th May 2013 - 13th Sept 2013)

This was a girl abducted by the insurgents in early May 2013 and was in their custody for about three months before her escape in September, 2013 by the grace of God. Luckily they did not sexually abuse her as she was groomed to marry the insurgent leaders' junior brother. However, she suffered beating even at point of death to convert to Islam and forced to wear their 'hijab' as they go from one hiding came to another atop the mountain hills where they are based.

She even followed them to the attack on Gwna police station conveying the bullets they used during the attack. Her escaped gave her a new life of hope but never believed it was really true until she was taken out of Borno State.

Her parents' home and the whole village were attacked after her escape, burning all the houses and killing two people in revenge. She was later examined and found physically fine.

Held captive for 22 days in Boko Haram at Gwoza Hills (30th Sept. 2013 - 20th Oct. 2013)
It was around 8:00pm on 30th September, 2013 when Boko Haram with heavy weapons came and broke into her brothers room and shoot him. They took his wife out and put a gun to her head, but when they heard another strange event outside the compound, the insurgents came back again and asked the ladies including her to come out. There they captured herself, her sister & her brother's wife and took them away as captives. They were taken to the camp on the mountain top in Ghwa'a village where the leader of the Boko Haram stayed.

She who is a dedicated Christian was asked to denounced Christ and accept Islam or else she would be slaughtered. Out of fear she agreed and they ceremonially cited Quran verses, gave her a veil (Himar) and named her Maryam.

After converting her she was taken to (Emir) leader of the camp who was called Ibrahim Tada Nglayire and she was married one of the insurgents called Abdul, where she was sexually abused. After that, he asked her to perform an exercise of taking water from a kettle to bath with it as sign of cleansing from the sex they had. Which he called WAKAN JANABA.

The insurgents gets their money from External sources, she always heard them mentioning Arab countries etc. Some among their local sponsors whom they mention were some District Heads in Borno State and a member of the State House of Assembly . They always thanked them for supporting with money and protection. On the 20th of October, 2013, when the insurgent have left to get their ammunition, their leader's wife brought them together in a conversations. That was how she escaped.

Held captive for 22 days in Boko Haram at Gwoza Hills (30th Sept. 2013 - 20th Oct. 2013)

She was kidnapped by Boko Haram on 30th September, 2013. She was taken to their camp. The following sub-gang leader of the insurgent took her to the Emir, (Ibrahim Tadaghleke) for an update on how they captured them. When Ibrahim saw her, he immediately ordered her conversion to Islam and gave her a husband. The husband came in the night to sexually abused her, when she refused he brought his gun and knife to kill her if she attempt to stop him again. He left her when he discovered she was on her monthly period.
They normally speak Kanuri language, Arabic and Hausa talking about Some District heads and a member of the State House of Assembly. Popular in their conversation is that, they hate President Jonathan because he is Pagan and sent the Army to kill them. She escaped when she tactically dropped her shoes on the entrance of the door. She picked a kettle with pretence to enter toilet. That was how she made her way to escape. They went through serious challenges, but God save her.

Held captive for 22 days in Boko Haram at Gwoza Hills (28th Sept. 2013 - 20th Oct. 2013)
She was captured and held as a slave by the Boko Haram group on 28th September, 2013. Their house was invaded by the insurgents. In their palour, they asked for their names. When they found out they were Christians, they went with her. They started going up the hill for almost 2 days on foot. When they reached a village called KWATARA, one of them went from there and entered another village. It took them additional (8) eight hours before they reach a place in a cave on top of Mandara mountains hills, where they were kept for almost two weeks before proceeded to another location
She was converted to Islam and was given a Muslim name called HASIYA, and married to an insurgent. She was raped and sexually abused by force under a treat of Gun. She was only 15 years old and still a virgin.

Held captive for 5 days in Boko Haram at Gwoza Hills (19th Nov. 2013 - 23th Nov. 2013)

They met her around the Cameroonian boarder, caught her and started beating her. One among the Boko Haram pulled her veil, tore it and tied her hands behind and started beating her with plastic pipes. Another one of the insurgents dragged her and tied another rope behind her and pulling her like animal. She was then taken to the mountains travelling throughout the night where they went to a village in the hill they call Hraza. It was too gloomy because there were so many branches within the caves. She quickly agreed to convert to Muslim with a knife of her throat, on 19 November, 2013. They cited Quranic verse which she repeats after them. She was given KALMAN SHAHADA. She saw a man called MALLAM where they were staying. He doesn't come out in a day time, neither does he follow them for operations, but he gives orders and instruction as final authority. He doesn't open his face. He is aways in a veil like Arab man, in all white clothes. The second in command was called Ibrahim Tadagleke and then mallam Audu and Mallam Saidu, whom were the operational commanders.
On the 21 November, 2013, the overall MALLAM, who was in charge of giving orders came out and went round the camp around 5:00pm - 6:00pm. He was accompanied by Ibrahim who they called Emir followed by operational commanders and then over 80 armed insurgents were behind him. Some among their sponsors where late Mohammed Gadafi before he died. People from Chad were used to import the weapons, on Carmel and herdsmen from Niger.
Their main funds comes from Afghanistan and Iraq. They always thanked the Arab countries. Most of the people that sponsored them locally were disguised. She escaped from them on 23 November, 2013.
